I build clarity, space, and emotion into the mix, keeping workflows structured so creative decisions stay focused and intentional.Sound is not just technical precision - it’s atmosphere, rhythm, and emotion working in service of story.I focus on how dialogue sits, how space is shaped, and how dynamics support performance on screen. The aim is always to create mixes that feel clear, immersive, and emotionally connected to the picture.I keep workflows structured and efficient so the technical side stays predictable, leaving room for focused creative decisions.Collaboration is central to my process. I work closely with directors and production teams to develop a clear sonic direction and maintain a calm, efficient working environment.

Alexander Fielding is a Re-Recording Mixer working across film, television, animation, and documentary, with over 20 years’ experience in sound supervision and ADR mixing.He has contributed to a wide range of narrative projects, specialising in dialogue-led mixing where clarity, balance, and performance are central to the final sound.Work on Downton Abbey earned two Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Sound Mixing (2012 and 2014), reflecting a long-term focus on detailed, story-driven work in high-end television.Based in the UK, he collaborates with directors, editors, and production teams to deliver final mixes for film and television projects.
